Course:
The UCI Women’s Team Time Trial starts at the AREA 47 outdoor adventure centre by the entrance to the Ötztal Valley. With its wide open roads, the course offers ideal conditions for fast team time trial riding at average speeds of 50 to 60km/h. The six-rider teams will make their way along the Upper Inn Valley through Telfs and Völs to Innsbruck.

The course may not be particularly technically challenging, but at 54 kilometres from start to finish it is long. The final run into the finish takes riders past Innsbruck airport, through the Höttinger Au area of the city to St. Nikolaus, where they cross the Kettenbrücke bridge and sprint along the wide Rennweg boulevard to the finish line in front of the Hofburg imperial palace.

► The race is likely to be decided on the tight, twisting and slightly uphill section around Kematen and Zirl.
