Course:
The UCI Men’s Team Time Trial starts at the AREA 47 outdoor adventure centre by the entrance to the Ötztal Valley, the course takes riders more than 60km along the Inn Valley to the finish line in the regional capital Innsbruck. From the start at AREA 47 to the village of Zirl the course is identical to that of the UCI Women’s Team Time Trial.

At Zirl the men turn off and complete a 4km climb from Kematen to Axams with a maximum gradient of 13%. With the climb completed, the riders speed along a plateau through the village of Götzens and back down to Völs. This is also likely to be a critical section, with riders reaching speeds of up to 100km/h on the descent. The final section leads through Innsbruck to St. Nikolaus and the Kettenbrücke bridge, where the teams turn and sprint for the finish line in front of the Hofburg imperial palace.
