This winter hike begins with a ride up onto the mountain using the Venet Bahn cable car from the centre of Zams. Hikers should get off at the mid-way station at around 1,650m, where they will be greeted by fine views of the Lechtal Alps. The trail itself leads through the nearby forest to the Zammer Alm hut next to the top of the Rifenalbahn cable car. This cosy hut serves fine local food and has a large terrace with plenty of sun even in winter.

Trail description
Hikers should take the Venet Bahn cable car from the centre of Zams to the mid-way station at around 1,650 metres above sea level. The trail itself leads through the forest to the Skihütte Zams hut and onto the Zammer Alm hut. Return along the same route.
