The trek to 1,878-meter Waldraster Jöchl Col is a quintessential snowshoeing experience at the entrance to Stubai Valley. This especially scenic intermediate-level snowshoe route is suitable for beginners as it only takes 1.5 hours to complete. The wide-open views of Stubai Valley’s winter wonderland from the top are absolutely jaw-dropping: Upon cresting the col, you’re at the cross on the summit. The views from here are matchless—giving you the reward you earned for gaining 300 vertical meters.
