Trail description
This winter walk begins at a car park belonging to the Friedrichshafener Hütte, located on the Silvrettastraße road between Valzur and Tschafein. The first section leads along a well-maintainted forest path cleared of snow in the winter that takes walkers up to the Friedrichshafener Hütte (closed in winter). The trail is not too steep and winds its way through the forest until it thins out and gives way to snow-covered mountain meadows. The route ends just 300 metres below the Friedrichshafener Hütte, where spectacular views await of the Silvretta Mountains and the Samnaun Mountains dominating the landscape. Return along the way you came.
