Trail description
This snowshoe walk begins at the Grünberg car park south of the village of Obsteig. Follow the forest road in the direction of Simmeringalm to the southwest. First you walk along a former ski slope for a while, then through a thin forest, always close to a high-voltage power line. After about an hour you will reach Zwischensimmering. There, turn right and follow the signs to the Simmeringalm. The route continues gently uphill on a path through the forest until you reach the hut. After a refreshing stop, return downhill along the same path.
