Trail description
The adventure begins at the top of the Diasbahn cable car at 1,830 metres above sea level. The first section of the walk leads through a tunnel to the Sunny Mountain Restaurant. Above the restaurant you will find a well-maintained winter hiking trail to the left heading through the ski resort in a westerly direction. Walkers pass the children's practice area and two reservoirs. The path then leads through a snow-covered mountain forest. After around half an hour will you will reach a stream just below the Sessladalpe hut. On the way back, which follows the same route, we recommend a short detour around the lake. Along the hike there are several points where walkers can stop and rest. Food and drink are served at the restaurants next to the top of the cable car.
