Trail description
The walk begins at the former tourist information office in the centre of Going. The route leads in a north-westerly direction under the main road (next to the Raiffeisen bank) and then along the Rettweg road to the Blattkapelle chapel. After passing the chapel, turn right. onto a small trail leading gently uphill along the banks of a stream. Just a few metres further on, the winter walking trail heads right into the open terrain of the Schwendter Plateau. Initially head in a northerly direction to the Brennhütte hut in Riedling. The route then turns east and skirts the village of Schwendt to the north before passing through the hamlets of Thurnbichl and Höhenleit and heading south back to the starting point.
