Apart from birdsong and the sound of snow crunching underfoot, this beautiful hike in the Risstal Valley is a haven of total peace and quiet. The pretty landscape and sunny snow-covered meadows mean that time flies as you make your way towards the pretty Hagelhütten huts. Though these huts are privately owned, there is the Gasthof zur Post in Hinterriß where hikers can enjoy hearty local food in front of a roaring fire.
