The Lechtal Valley is a winter wonderland during the cold months of the year. The rushing Lech river, diverse flora and fauna and spectacular Lech Nature Park draw many hikers even in winter. This easy walk between Forchach and Stanzach leads through the Lech river's wetlands with their gravel riverbanks, stone formations and thick forests rising up into the mountains. Along the way there are many large wooden tree trunks - the ideal place to sit down and enjoy the views.
