Thought multi-day walks were a summer-only activity? Think again! The Seefeld Plateau recently opened the first multi-day walk designed for the winter months. As you make your way through the snowy landscape you will have plenty of time to learn about the flora and fauna in this region to the north of Innsbruck. Included in the price is a luggage transport service from one hotel to the next. The stages lead through the idyllic Leutaschtal Valley, the Wildmoos nature reserve, past two viewing platforms to the "peace bell" in Mösern and on to the Wettersteinhütte hut, where guests stay the night. The paths are kept in good condition throughout the winter, meaning snowshoes are not required.
