This run begins at the Gasthof RachKuchl, a cosy mountain inn located near the village of Vomperberg above the town of Schwaz. It measures around 2 kilometres in length and descends 274 vertical metres from start to finish, winding its way along the Bachtal Valley all the way to the military training camp in Vomp. There are protective boards in some corners, but the run is kept in excellent condition thanks to the volunteers from the local winter sports club. It is floodlit until after midnight. The run is suitable for families with children, but please be careful in icy conditions.
