Hinterriss Toboggan Run

This toboggan run, the first in the Risstal Valley in the Karwendel Mountains to receive the Tirolean regional government's seal of approval, was opened in December 2018. Measuring 1.25 kilometres in length, it ends around 100 metres from the car park in Hinterriss. To get to the starting point at the top (around 100 vertical metres futher up the mountain) you have to walk up the toboggan run itself. This is on the sunny side of the mountain but leads through a forest. The run is kept in good condition and has no steep sections. Don't forget to stop off every now and then to enjoy the fabulous views of the Karwendel Mountains.
