The Nisslalm is a mountain hut in the Sulztal Valley, a side valley branching off the Ötztal Valley near Längenfeld. It is perched at 2,054 metres above sea level above the small village of Gries and is the starting point of a toboggan run which winds its way back down into the valley. The hut and toboggan run can be reached using a walking path leaving from the car park in Gries. After around half an hour of walking, a separate trail branches off leading up to the hut. Enjoy a hot drink and a hearty snack before hopping on your toboggan and whizzing back down into the valley. The run is relatively challenging with almost no flat sections and plenty of tight corners. It is north-east-facing and has plenty of shade, so the snow conditions generally remain good throughout the season. The toboggan run is generally open from late November until mid-April.
