The Kasermandl toboggan run leads 2.7 kilometres from the Speckhütte (1,405 metres) down to the village of Elbigenalp the largest settlement in the Lechtal Valley. It is of intermediate difficulty and leads through a forest with several openings offering fine views of the valley below. Leaving from the Geierwally car park in Elbigenalp, it takes around 1-1.5 hours to walk up to the top. On the way there are several points of interest: the Ölbergkapelle chapel, the Geierwally-Freilichtbühne open-air theatre and the famous wood-carving school established in the 19th century by the painter and stucco artist Johann Anton Falger. The cosy Speckhütte hut at the top of the run serves hearty local food.
