The Rosshütte ski resort in Seefeld is the perfect place for long ski tours on the pistes.
Seefelder Joch
This ski tour is 5.8 kilometres in length and leads from the bottom of the lifts up to the Seefelder Joch at the top of the resort. The first section is not on the piste but instead along a special ski touring route through the forest. If there is a lack of snow, it is possible to walk up along the Brandlpiste. There are two huts en route: the Hochegg-Alm near the Kaltwassersee reservoir and the Rosshütte next to the top of the lifts at 1,750 metres. The final section is steep and challenging – but the fantastic view up at 2,060 metres above sea level is well worth it. There is, of course, also the option of stopping a little earlier at the Rosshütte.
