Four on-piste ski tours catering to all abilities await in the KitzSki resort. They begin in Kirchberg, the Spertental Valley, just above Kitzbühel itself and at Pass Thurn.
Ski Tour 1: Gaisberg (Intermediate)
Don't let yourself be fooled by the flat, easy start to this ski tour. After the gentle first section things soon get steeper as skiers head uphill parallel to the Gaisberglift. The middle bit is the steepest. Things get easier again in the final third. Those who want to make the steep section in the middle a little easier can take the longer but less steep route through the forest (if there is enough snow). The ski tour ends at the top of the lifts, where the Gaisbergstüberl guesthouse serves hearty local food. A good place for a snack and a drink before whizzing back down into the valley.

- Arriving by bus: From the railway station in Kirchberg take the bus to the stop "Kirchberg/Gaisberg" (bus route 4004)

There is only a short section of a few hundred metres through a forest just before you get to the top. Skiers then head up through a forest followed by a section of open terrain to the Usterkaralmen huts before continuing up to the ridge, where the trail swings left. After less than one more kilometre of walking you will get to the top of the lifts at Hochsaukaser and Hieslegg. Just 800 metres away is the Bergrestaurant Pengelstein.

Ski Tour 4: Resterkogel (Intermediate)
The Pass Thurn mountain pass lies on the border between the provinces of Salzburg and Tirol. It is here that this ski tour up to the Resterkogel begins. The views of the Pinzgau region and the Hohe Tauern Mountains are fine. The first section if relatively flat, then things become steeper on ski tour trail number 70a up through the forest. After crossing the ski piste, take a left-hand corner and cross over the piste several more times. The gradient becomes steeper as you approach the Moseralm hut. There the route leads left away from the ski piste. The final section is close to piste number 77 all the way up to the summit of the Resterkogel mountain (1,892 metres). The nearby Bergrestaurant Pinzgablick serves food and drink.
