The compact resort of Schlick 2000 is the largest in the Stubai Valley and a favourite among families with children. Snowboarders, freeriders and racers will also find plenty to keep them entertained.
Situated just a ten-minute drive from Innsbruck, the ski resort of Schlick 2000 can be accessed from the village of Fulpmes in the Stubai Valley. Its pistes stretch all the way up to 2,140 metres above sea level and the top of the Kreuzjoch ridge. Schlick 2000 is particularly popular with families and is blessed with excellent snow cover from November until April. Despite its compact design, it is the largest ski resort in the Stubai Valley and offers pistes catering for all skiing and snowboarding abilities, including three black runs, a snowpark, a track-your-day system that records the pistes and lifts used, a speed gun and BIG Ron's Kinderland for children. Powder junkies will enjoy the freeride routes below the Kreuzjoch ridge. The resort's many restautants and huts serving good local food are a good place to take a break and admire the views.
