Located just 12 kilometres west of Tirol’s lively capital Innsbruck, Rangger Köpfl is one of Tirol skiers' best-kept secrets. Rising from 800 to 1,939 metres above sea level, the variety of sunny and wide runs provides great skiing and riding. The ski resort is readily accessible by car or a complimentary shuttle bus from Innsbruck. Rangger Köpfl is a great mountain for all ages and skiing abilities as well as a haven for other winter activities, from tobbogganing and winter walking to ski touring and backcountry skiing. The Rosskogelhütte at the top of the resort serves excellent food. Twice a week there is night skiing.
