The Hüttegglift ski lift in Weerberg whisks skiers and snowboarders from 1,340 metres up to an altitude of 1,500 metres – the views of lofty Karwendel Mountains from the top are spectacular. Wintersports enthusiasts of all ages have access to 2.5km of immaculately groomed gentle slopes and long cruising runs. The easy beginners' area with its conveyor lift can be used free of charge.

Weerberg is a settlement at the foot of the Gilfert, a 2,506 m mountain popular in winter with ski touring enthusiasts. It lies on a raised plateau overlooking the Lower Inntal Valley.
