Small but perfectly formed, the Füssener Jöchle ski resort above the Haldensee lake in the Tannheimer Tal Valley is served by a cable car giving skiers and snowboarders access to snowsure slopes up to 1,821 metres above sea level. The resort has a selection of blue (easy) and red (intermediate) runs on the north-facing side near the chairlift at Jochalpe with excellent views over the border into Bavaria. There are also a number of off-piste ski routes, while beginners and children will enjoy the easy slopes at the Schachenlift down in the valley.
