Ehrwalder Almbahn ski resort

Ski resort closed

Open lifts 0/8

For all those in search of wide, gentle slopes far from the madding crowd, the Ehrwalder Almbahn resort is the ideal solution. Families and beginners in particular will appreciate the quiet slopes and excellent conditions, though there is also plenty to keep intermediate and advanced skiers entertained.

Nestling between the Wetterstein Mountains and the Mieming Mountains, the Ehrwalder Alm is a small resort between 1,100 and 1,923 metres above sea level ideal for beginners. Most of the slopes are blue, though there are also a few red and black pistes. Almost all of the runs have snowmaking facilities. Ehrwalder Alm forms part of the larger Tirol Zugspitz Arena region.

Families, beginners and those returning to the sport will appreciate the wide, gentle slopes. There is also a dedicated beginners' practice area with conveyor belt lifts and ski carousels for children. The team of childcare experts in the Tirolerhaus will be happy to look after babies and toddlers, giving parents the chance to get out and explore the resort on their own.

Snowboarders and freestylers of all abilities gather in the Betterpark to spin, flip and grind their way over the many different obstacles and features, before hopping on the Klämmli-Lift and riding back up to the top. Those in search of an adrenaline kick should try the "Panorama-Piste" leading down from the Issentalkopf. The resort is home to several huts and restaurants with large sun terraces – the ideal place to enjoy delicious local food in breathtaking alpine surroundings.
