Thurntaler Gondelbahn I+II

Lift closed

Towering high above the village of Sillian, the Thurntaler mountain is a popular destination for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts in the High Pustertal Valley. It can be accessed in just a few minutes via a modern six-man cable car. From the top station at Gadein (2,090m) there is a large network of hiking trails. The walk to the beautiful Drei Seen lakes is recommended for families with children, while the trail to the Äußere Hochalm is also easy. The mountain has two restaurants serving food and drink. Thanks to its excellent thermal conditions the Thurntaler mountain is very popular with paragliding and hanggliding fans.
