The Schlossbergbahn cable car leads from the bottom station at Hochstein to the Moosalm, where spectacular views of Lienz and the surrounding mountains await. The Schlossberg mountain itself has plenty to see and do for all the family. While children can have fun in the adventure play area or visit the animals at the petting zoo, parents can relax in the sun at the Moosalm hut. The top station of the Schlossbergbahn cable car is also the starting point for a number of hiking trails catering for all fitness levels. A highlight for guests of all ages is the "Osttirodler" summer toboggan run winding its way from the top of the cable car through forests and banked corners down into the valley.
