Mountain railway Rosenalmbahn I+II

The Rosenalmbahn takes you from Zell am Ziller directly to the Kreuzjoch hiking and mountain bike area. Once at the top, there is a magnificent view of the Zillertal Alps. The two stations of the Rosenalmbahn are ideal starting points for leisurely hikes and more challenging mountain tours.

We recommend because:

  • the adventure playground at the Fichtenschloss and the Fichtensee are a great destination for excursions
  • there is a summer toboggan run at the valley station
  • bikers can enjoy a well-developed network of trails with e-bike charging stations
