The area around the mid-way station of the Komperdell cable car offers lots for families with children such as the Murmliwasser outdoor adventure area and water park. From Komperdell there is also a second cable car, the Lazidbahn, leading up to 2,354 metres above sea level. There you will find the Georama Lassida, an adventure world all about geology and archaeology. Right next door is an alpine garden with a fun sensory trail for youngsters and plenty of places to sit down and relax for adults.Last but certainly not least is the 1.5-kilometre Georama Trail Lazid, a walking trail (also suitable for buggies) leading from Lazid to the top of the Lawensbahn cable car and back again. Lazid is also the starting point for many more walks and hikes such as the one up to the Furgler mountain (3,004 metres).
In summer/autumn 2023 the Komperdellbahn will be closed for maintenance work. There are other cable cars nearby such as the Alpkopfbahn. More information
