Mountain railway Goldried Bergbahn

This cable car transports guests from Matrei up to Goldried at 2,163 metres above sea level. Up at the top there is a wide range of hiking trails to explore, including the 5km "Europa-Panoramaweg" which is recommended for families and offers fine views of Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner. There are also plenty of challenging rock climbing routes for experts. Mountain bikers can explore the lush meadows in the Hohe Tauern Mountains.
