Mountain railway Gerlosssteinbahn

The Gerlossteinbahn valley station is located at the foot of the Gerlosssteinwand in Hainzenberg in the Zillertal. From there, the tandem cable car takes guests comfortably up to 1,650 meters above sea level, where you can start a hiking or mountain tour straight away.

  • ...you absolutely have to take a bird's eye view from the mountain station on one of the four alpine flying foxes
  • ...the 380-metre-long Gerlosstein via ferrata is a highlight for all fans of vertical climbing
  • ...there are several alpine pastures and huts for a rest after challenging activities
