Situated in Neustift in the Stubai Valley, the Panoramabahn Elfer cable car is just a 20-minute drive from Innsbruck and gives hikers and holidaymakers access to the area around the Elferspitze mountain. In summer the top station of the cable car is an excellent starting point for hikes catering for all fitness levels, while those in search of an adrenaline kick can take on one of the nearby summits or scale the heights on a via ferrata fixed-rope climbing route. The Elferspitze high above Neustift boasts fine thermal conditions and therefore attracts many paragliding and hanggliding enthusiasts.
