The Wolfratshauser Hütte (1,753 metres) is a mountain refuge near Lermoos in the Lechtal Alps popular with hikers, mountain bikers and skiers.

Grass-covered slopes giving way to craggy rock peaks provide an impressive backdrop to the Wolfratshauser Hütte, an excellent base for walking and hiking in the beautiful Gartner Tal Valley. This mountain refuge can be easily accessed from the valley floor using the chairlift. Two nearby mountains, the Grubigstein and the Gartner Wand, can be climbed relatively easily. The Gartner Wand is particularly impressive with its 3km ridge and 500m drop on the northern side. The hut itself has a sunny terrace and cosy wood-panelled rooms. The food is healthy and hearty. The hut is open in both summer and winter.

From Lermoos in 2 hours, from the middle station of the Grubigstein chairlift in 1.5 hours, from the top of the chairlift in 30 minutes, from Untergarten through the Gartner Tal Valley in 3 hours
