German Alpine Club, Weiden Division
Flower-filled meadows and a carpet of pink alpine roses in spring provide a wonderful backdrop to the Weidener Hütte. This mountain refuge in the heart of the Tux Alps, between the Inn Valley and the Tux Valley, is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding peaks on two wheels or two feet. The hut also has facilities for seminars and other meetings. Cuisine ranges from North Tirolean to South Tirolean, with a few Nepalese flavours thrown in for good measure. The hut is open both in summer and winter.
