The Straubinger Haus (1,558 metres) is a mountain hut in the Chiemgau Alps providing modern and cosy accommodation for day guests, long-distance hikers and mountain bikers.

The Straubinger Haus enjoys a wonderful location surrounded by lush meadows, easy-to-climb mountains and the rolling peaks of the Chiemgau Alps. It can be reached from all directions, including from Bavaria to the north. It is little wonder that this modern and cosy hut is popular with day guests, long-distance hikers and mountain bikers. The hut sleeps up to 60 people and has a large terrace where guests can enjoy hearty local food. The terrace also offers wonderful views of the Kaiser Mountains. Among the easiest and closest peaks is the Fellhorn, while mountains such as the Steinplatte are more challenging and take a full day. The Kaiser Mountains can also be reached from the hut via a day-long trek.
