The Neue Reichenberger Hütte (2,586 metres) is a popular hut in the Venediger Mountains / Lasörling Massif in East Tirol. It is run by the Austrian Alpine Association.

The Neue Reichenberger Hütte lies in the heart of the Lasörling Massif, on the shorse of the beautiful Bödensee lake. The hut offers fabulous views of the Großvenediger mountain, one of the highest in Austria. The Neue Reichenberger Hütte has been run by Hansl and Christine for more than 20 years. They serve delicious homemade food and offer tired hikers such as those taking on the Läsorling High Trail or exploring the mountains in the Virgental Valley and the Defereggental Valley a cosy place to stay the night. Well-known mountains near the hut: Gösleswand, Finsterkarspitze, Keeseck, Reichenberger Spitze.
Ascent to the Neue Reichenberger Hütte
Leaving from the village of St. Jakob in the Defereggental Valley or the village of Hinterbichl in the Virgental Valley, it takes around four hours to walk to the hut.
