The Kölner Haus (1,965 metres) in the Samnaun Mountains is a popular hut for daytrips and adventures into the 3,000m peaks above Serfaus.

This mountain hut is located near the top of the Komperdell cable car on a sunny plateau above Serfaus. Its proximity to the cable car makes it a popular place for daytrippers keen to enjoy the fabulous views. It is also a base camp for exploring some of the peaks around the hut such as the Furgler and the Hexenkopf. The villages of Serfaus, Fiss and Ladis is particular popular with families – for hiking in summer and for skiing in winter. This explains why the Kölner Haus is open both in summer and winter. The food served is healthy and hearty. The owners of this hut also run the Hexenseehütte in the Masner area above Serfaus.
