The Ascher Hütte is an alpine hut in the Samnaun Mountains. It is located high above the village of See, at 2,256 metres above sea level, and is popular with hikers in summer and skiers in winter.

The Ascher Hütte, which lies in the Samnaun Mountains above the Paznaun Valley, is known as a family-friendly hut. It is surrounded by the meadows and pastures of the Versingalm. Despite a few rocks here and there, it is easily accessible for both adults and children. Kids will enjoy playing in and around the streams near the huts. There is even a small lake. The food is hearty and traditional. Highlights include the large terrace with fabulous views of the Verwall Mountains and the iconic Hoher Riffler. Families can spend several nights at the hut and book half-board accommodation. There are plenty of walks and hikes nearby for all ages and fitness levels. During the winter months the hut is popular with skiers and snowboarders thanks to its position directly next to one of the ski pistes in the resort of See. Mobile phone signal is availbale at the hut. Please contact the hut in advance if you are planning on bringing your dog with you.
