Trail description
Hop on the Wiedersbergerhorn cable car and head up into the mountains, where this hiking adventure begins. The 250-vertical-metre walk to the summit of the Wiedersberghorn is relatively easy, though there are a number of short sections with a steel cable anchored into the rock. However, all of these sections can be left out and walked around if you wish to keep things easy. All in all it takes around an hour to get from the top of the cable car to the summit of the mountain. The descent is a short steep trail to the Wiedersbergerhornhütte. Return to the top of the cable car via the A40 panoramic trail, either north or south of the summit. Allow half an hour for the walk back from the summit to the top of the cable car. Then take the gondola back down into the valley.
