Trail description
This easy hike in the Vilsalpsee area starts at the inn of the same name, the Gasthaus Vilsalpsee. Follow a wide farm track on the western side of the 1.4-kilometre-long lake to the Vilsalpe mountain hut. From there, take the well-marked circular route further south, which leads to the impressive Bergaicht waterfall at the head of the valley. Return past the Vilsalpe and along the western side of the lake back to the starting point.
