Trail description
The approach to the Schlossbachklamm gorge begins at the railway station in Reith bei Seefeld. Walkers head south-east along the old Roman road ("Römerstraße") before turning off left onto the "Leithener Waldweg" trail. This leads above the railway line to Leithen. Walkers then pass the railway station in Leithen and follow the pleasant forest trail into the Schlossbachklamm gorge. Half-way into the gorge there is a wooden bridge over the stream. Take this bridge and then continue uphill to Hochzirl. There you will find a tarmac road leading past the hospital ("Krankenhaus Hochzirl") to the railway station in Hochzirl.
Return along the way you came, or alteratively take the train back to the starting point in Reith bei Seefeld.
