The Panorama Trail from the top of the Brandstadl-Gondelbahn cable car in Scheffau to the Hartkaiser mountain lives up to its name. Along this easy route, walkers can enjoy fabulous views of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains and into the Brixental Valley as far as the Lofer and Leogang Rocky Mountains. On clear days you can even see the Hohe Tauern Mountains and the Zillertal Alps. The walk is ideal for families with children, not least thanks to the fact that Ellmi's World of Magic and the KaiserWelt adventure play areas are located en route. Hikers exploring the trail in June and July can look forward to wonderful pastures full of pink alpine roses.

Trail description
The adventure begins with a ride on the Brandstadl-Gondelbahn cable car from Scheffau up to the mountain restaurant and the KaiserWelt play area. Follow trails 53 and 99, past the Tanzbodenalm. After a large crossroads, turn left onto trail 6 and continue to the top of the lifts at Hartkaiser. There you will find a restaurant with fabulous views. It is also here that you will find the Ellmi’s World of Magic outdoor adventure area.
Return along the way you came. At the crossroads, don't take the "Panoramaweg" ("Panorama Trail") but instead stay left and walk along the forest trail down to Brandstadl, past the Tanzbodenalm to the top of the lifts at Brandstadl. Take the cable car back down to the starting point.
