Easily one of the most rewarding hikes in the area, the Panorama Trail above Serfaus is a worthy destination with some fine views. The Möseralm hut takes around an hour and a half to reach on foot. Fit and ambitious hikers can continue on to the village of Ladis (an extra three and a half hours). Don't forget to plan a little extra time to take in the wonderful scenery.

Trail description
Park your car on the edge of Serfaus (cars are not allowed in the village centre). Ride the Komperdellbahn cable car to the mid-way station. It is there that the hiking begins. The tread is good and the wide path starts high with gentle ups and downs on a scenic 1.5-hour walk to the Möseralm hut above Fiss. Most hikers young and old will have no problem making the journey.
Motivated and fit hikers can extend the walk by 3.5 hours by continuing past Steinegg and along the Animal Learning Trail to Rabuschl, Schönegg and, finally, Ladis.
You can shorten the route from Serfaus to Ladis by riding the Sunliner gondola down to Serfaus, the Möseralmbahn gondola from the Möseralm hut, or the Schönjochbahn gondola down to Fiss.
With only 632 vertical metres of elevation gain (or 785 for the extended hike) this relatively easy yet wonderfully scenic hike tour is doable for almost everyone. It can be walked in both directions.
Tip! There are plenty of benches and even hammocks along the trail where you can stop for a rest. Hungry hikers will be pleased to know that the Möseralm is famous for its excellent food. If you choose to continue on to Ladis, there are two educational trails, the "Fisser Kraft- und Sinnesweg" ("Fiss Energy and Senses Trail") and the "Tierlehrpfad" ("Animal Learning Trail") en route from the mid-way station of the Schönjochbahn cable car to the village of Ladis.
