Tweet, tweet! Who's there? The Bird Learning Trail near the village of Hart in the Zillertal Valley invites visitors to learn about the region's diverse avian population thanks to a series of information boards. It is located next to the Nature Adventure Trail, whose 15 stations explain the secrets of the forest as a home and habitat to plants and animals. Both trails are designed to be interactive, with plenty of smelling, touching and listening required. Located en route is the Harter Schleierwasserfall, at 91 metres in height the tallest waterfall in the Zillertal Valley. Both trails are easy and therefore also suitable for families with children.

Trail description
This circular walk begins at the Gasthof Hamberg in Niederhart. Walk along the road in a southerly direction. At the Kaiserlochbach stream, turn left into the forest. Cross over the stream on the edge of the forest and then take hiking trail U7 in a northerly direction up to the point where it meets a tarmac road (shortly before you reach the parish church). There, turn sharp right and walk south once again. Shortly after entering the forest you will see the start of the Bird Learning Trail and the Nature Adventure Trail. Two kilometres later you will reach the waterfall. From there, take the Adventure Trail heading down into the valley via a series of swithback corners. Once you get to the village of Haselbach there is the chance to stop for a rest at the Gasthof Almdiele. The final section is via Helfenstein to Niederhart, the starting point of the walk. There is also the option of starting from the Gasthof Almdiele in Haslbach or the church in Oberhart.
