This easy hike suitable for families with children leads through lush pastures above Lake Achensee. It begins at the Achenseehof (949 metres) and passes the Köglalm (1,431 metres) and the Kotalm-Mitterleger (1,608 metres) hut before leading back to the starting point. Most of the trails are wide and easy to navigate. One of the highlights comes right at the start in the form of the Seehof-Wasserfall, the largest waterfall at Lake Achensee. The views are wonderful, stretching from the deep blue lake to the mighty rockfaces of the Klobenjoch mountain. Fit hikers can take a detour at the Köglalm hut and climb the nearby Ochsenkopf (1,665 metres) mountain.
