This 11-kilometre-long one day walk in the Ötztal Valley is of moderate difficulty and can be walked within 4.5 hours. The panoramic trail winds from some 2,800 metres down to 1,900 metres and offers some of the most breathtaking views you'll find. Marvel at the lofty Ötztal Alps glaciers, exceeding 3,500 metres in altitude. Vent has at its heart various friendly inns and restaurants where you will be warmly welcomed. Trail description
Leave the mountain village of Sölden on a bus to the Tiefenbach Restaurant atop the Tiefenbach glacier. From here, follow the signs towards “Vent”. Walk a few metres on a dirt road, then continue walking on a singletrack that gradually runs down to Vent. The last two kilometres of this walk follow a forest road and take you directly to the village of Vent.
