The Mieming Plateau on the southern end of the Mieminger Kette Mountains is particularly beautiful in spring and autumn thanks to its many hours of sunshine and beautiful landscape.
During the summer months the lack of shade on the Mieming Plateau means it is often too hot for walks with babies. This walk is on the eastern part of the plateau and can be extended to match your ambition and fitness level - there are countless flat paths and trails criss-crossing the plateau, most of which are flat and therefore suitable for buggies and pushchairs. Those who want a challenge can walk up to the Fiechter Köpfl and enjoy its fine views. The flat route presented here leads along forests of pine trees, which open up on occasions to reveal fine views of the surrounding mountains. There are two restaurants and a swimming lake en route.
