Trail description
From the starting point at the car park on the western shore of the lake, the trail leads down to the water and then follows the shoreline, passing the Fischerstube in an easterly direction to the first swimming area at the Kohlerwiese. The path then runs between meadows in the direction of Haflingerhof. Heading south to the two campsites, the path swings back to the shore in a westerly direction and leads close to the water to the beautiful southern tip, which offers a great view of the lake. This is where the accessible part of the lakeside trail ends - children in buggies and wheelchair users can turn around and return to the starting point in the opposite direction or stop off at one of the cafés and restaurants along the way. There is a children's playground and wheelchair/buggy-accessible fun trail on the western shore of the lake.
Tip! From the southern tip of the lake there is a 500-metre-long section along the shoreline back to the starting point. This makes the trail into a circular walk, but please be aware that this section is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.
