Trail description
The start of the trail is around 600 metres from the top of the Lazidbahn cable car, towards Scheid. The first section of the trail itself is relatively flat and straight, meaning riders can built up speed quickly.
Things then get more twisting and technical, with obstacles including switchbacks, rollers and small jumps inviting riders to get creative and make their own lines. All of the obstacles can also be ridden around.
After a long straight with a short wooden bridge there are a number of perfectly shaped berms that can be taken at high speed. This ia a good place to dial in your cornering technique!
As the trail slowly comes to an end things get flatter and more rocky. Riders cross a riverbed and then roll along it down to the bottom of the Lazidbahn cable car.
This Lazidbahn cable car transports riders and their bikes back up to the start of the Scheidtrail. Alternatively, there is also a trail which can be riden up to the new, very challenging "Komperdell-Lassida-Strecke" on the Lazidkopf mountain.
Tip! In Komperdell there is the Kölner Haus hut serving traditional food and drink.
