Trail description
This ride begins on the Inn Cycle Path in Kufstein. It starts by heading along the bank of the river in a north-easterly direction to Ebbs. It is at the settlement of Mühltal that the climb begins via Durchholzen to the Walchsee lake. Take the trail through fields in an easterly direction, past the golf course in Kössen. After 9.6 kilometres you will reach the centre of Kössen. Continue via Thurnbichl and along the Großache river heading south gently uphill to Erpfendorf near Kirchdorf in Tirol. Then head on to Kirchdorf and through the Leukental Valley to St. Johann in Tirol. Before you reach the centre of St. Johann, at the industrial area, stay right and head towards Rettenbach. There now follows an up-and-down section to Going am Wilden Kaiser via Aschau, past the swimming lake. From there, continue to Going and, after the bottom station of the Astbergbahn cable car, shortly before you get to Ellmau, you will reach the highest point of the ride at 806 metres above sea level. After passing Ellmau, the descent begins towards Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser, the Weißache river and along route 348 to Söll. Shortly before Stockach near Söll, the route climbs again, following the river in a north-westerly direction, back to Kufstein.
