The OD Trails (ObernDorf Trails) are ideal for those new to trailriding while at the same time offering plenty for advanced and expert riders. They are the heart of the new Trail Park in St. Johann in Tirol, where mountain bikers of all ages can have fun and improve their bike-handling skills at the same time. The easiest trail is the Green Line (rated S0). The next step up is then the Blue Line, a 1.2-kilometre-long gravel trail with slightly tighter corners and larger jumps as well as a few steeper sections where riders can pick up speed. It is rated between S1 and S2 (easy/intermediate) and therefore ideal for talented beginners and those who already have a little experience riding the trails.

Trail description
The OD Trails are based around the Tauwiesenlift in Oberndorf. Thanks to a special bike-carrying device which attaches to the handlebars, this mountain bike draglift (the only one of its kind in Tirol!) transports both riders and their bikes up the mountain.
All the trails are clearly signposted. The Blue Line is of intermediate difficulty, designed to be like an alpine pumptrack winding its way down through the meadows but with tighter corners and larger jumps than the easy Green Line. There is also a section in the forest and a couple of rock gardens demanding good bike-handling skills. The final flourish is the Penzinghof Jump (experts only!), which can also be ridden around.
Tip! The new Trail Area also features a Jump Line with three different options (easy, intermediate, advanced), a Skills Area, a bikewash and an equipment & hire shop.
