This mountain bike ride of intermediate difficulty leads to three different alpine huts: Krinnenalpe, Edenalpe and Ödenalpe. All three serve hearty local food ranging from tangy mountain cheese to dried bacon, not forgetting of course sweet treats such as homemade cakes and "Kaiserschmarrn", a thick chopped pancake dish served with a sprinkling of icing sugar and a side dish of apple sauce. The views take in the Lechtal Alps, the glaciers of the Ötztal Valley and the Stubai Valley, the Zugspitze (Germany's highest mountain) and the alpine foothills over the border in Bavaria.
