Trail description
This mountain bike ride begins in the village of Fiss. Take the Schönjochbahn cable car (bike transport ticket required) up to the Fisser Joch at 2,440 metres. Alternatively you can ride up to the Fisser Joch using pedal power. In this case the ride begins at the Bikepark Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. Following the signs, this challenging route initially leads towards the Fisser Joch ridge. The section from Steinegg is particularly challenging.
The main part of the trail begins at the top of the Schönjochbahn cable car and winds its way down towards the village of Serfaus, passing through lush meadows and pastures. There is almost no braking required through the long, sweeping corners. Much of the trail is super-flowy, with just a few short uphill sections and technical rock gardens.
Keep your eyes open for the Northshore sections and a slightly longer rock garden which demands good bike-handling skills. If you don't want to ride the whole trail in one go, then why not take a break on the Mittlerer Sattelkopf and enjoy the fabulous views of the surrounding mountains.
Tip! The All-Mountain Ride Ticket is the best way to make the most of your time on the mountains. This ticket is valid for the whole bikepark and all the surrounding singletrack trails as well as use of the seven cable cars. For more information click here.
